NPD Manager

Here you will be leading the NPD team focused on retail accounts; developing and implementing the strategy to grow the business. You'll be responsible for a team of Technologists creating innovative products from concept through to product launch.

You'll be driving innovation, product, and process improvements through the team along with ensuring all customer relationships are effectively managed.

Through close working with Marketing and Commercial, you'll research trends and consumer needs to develop a leading innovation pipeline tailored to customers' requirements and capabilities.

You'll ensure the team's projects are effectively managed, aligned with business priorities and allocate resources as required.

You'll be joining a well-established and highly regarded food business with clear further growth plans. It's a supportive business that invests heavily into R&D and excellent facilities for the team. In this role, you'll be a key part of the senior team delivering the next stage of growth with key retail accounts.

You'll need to have experience in leading an NPD team developing for the retail market with a good understanding of food manufacturing. The business is looking for a strong people manager who will inspire and challenge; bringing passion, fun, and energy.

A leader who creates a collaborative environment where everyone is accountable for the team's success.

This role is predominantly site-based to be present with the team and will involve some travel to customers and suppliers.
