The food manufacturing sector is excellent at a lot of things but isn't overly progressive on part time working. This is the exception to prove the rule.
We have recently conducted a large-scale survey of people in FMCG / food manufacturing with one of the core findings being individuals are focusing more on work life balance than ever before.
If that is you, we have a new three day a week role that will play nicely into this and allow you to do whatever you wish for the remaining two days (extra consultancy work, life admin, time with the kids/family, gardening, that run you are always too tired to do or perhaps just sitting down with a cup of tea and a book?).
The food manufacturing sector is excellent at a lot of things but isn't always overly progressive on part time working. Therefore, it is refreshing to get this new position in which is a three day a week (days tbc) for a food manufacturing business of premium food products in Yorkshire.
The business is one that has excellence as a core tenant running through the organisation, which can be seen in their premium products and manifests itself in the way they treat people. You will know in the world of health and safety; this personable feel is vital for you to be able to get your message across.
You will also know reading at people from a textbook will switch them off, this is about working closely with them in a manufacturing environment and influencing, not telling.
