Summary:
The successful candidate will lead customer/ category Product Development activity to achieve targets, deliver right first time launches and also act as the customer’s first POC
The Role:
- Taking responsibility for the project management of all customer and category product development activity to meet critical path and feasibility plans, ensuring successful right first time launches
- Contributing product knowledge and customer insight within the category team, ensuring development is aligned with the customer’s requirements and also financial measurements
- Test the design of new product concepts throughout the creative and implementation stage
- Build and maintain customer relationships, acting as a dedicated customer/category contact
- Develop team capability through coaching and development
The Candidate:
- Ideally degree educated/degree level in Consumer Science or with equivalent knowledge to this
- Experience delivering high quality, sustainable commercial products within food
- Ability to lead multiple projects, and prioritise own and others focus
- Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities
- Have a good understanding of food manufacturing principles demonstrated through feasibility of proposals
