Summary:

The successful candidate will lead customer/ category Product Development activity to achieve targets, deliver right first time launches and also act as the customer’s first POC.

The Role:

• Taking responsibility for the project management of all customer and category product development activity to meet critical path and feasibility plans, ensuring successful right first time launches
• Contributing product knowledge and customer insight within the category team, ensuring development is aligned with the customer’s requirements and also financial measurements
• Test the design of new product concepts throughout the creative and implementation stage
• Build and maintain customer relationships, acting as a dedicated customer/ category contact
• Develop team capability through coaching and development

The Candidate:

• Ideally degree educated/ degree level in Consumer Science or with equivalent knowledge to this
• Experience delivering high quality, sustainable commercial products within food
• Ability to lead multiple projects, and prioritise own and others focus
• Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities
• Have a good understanding of food manufacturing principles demonstrated through feasibility of proposals
