Your role

Farm Management - To provide overall responsibility of a Broiler Farm, including all aspects of husbandry, ensuring all stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specification in terms of weight, quality, health & safety, welfare, etc. encompassing commercial and financial aspects of the farm, which involves working to financial and physical budgets, and where appropriate, the management and development of a team of people. Maintain the professional integrity and appearance of the farm and dwellings at all times. Bird welfare must be of utmost priority at all times. The successful candidate will ‘live’ Welfare as a Condition in all that they do. Simultaneously, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and development via our bespoke Agriculture Academy. ‘Growing our own’ agriculture specialists and leaders of the future is something that is extremely important to Moy Park.

Academy Management – To promote future development across the Lincolnshire Broiler division, encouraging the development of new employees and further development for existing employees. To assist Assistant Farm Managers to further their career within the division.

• Be prepared to undertake NVQs
• People Management skills
• Full Driving Licence
• Broiler Farm Management Experience
• Budget management
• Previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Environmental issues
