Lead Planner / Supply Chain Lead

Circa 38-42k (doe) + Benefits

Working hours – Mon – Fri

Here we have an opportunity to join a successful FMCG business, supplying a range of goods to fill our supermarket shelves.

What would you be doing?...

From looking at customer orders, buying trends and seasonal uplifts you’ll be working as part of a team to deliver OTIF, every time!

The main purpose of the role is to plan, coordinate and monitor the supply chain to meet the demands of internal and external customers.

Working with the Supply Chain Manager as their second in command and leading the supply chain coordinator team ( x 3 people). Mixing hands on and delegation of tasks to achieve success!  

Analysing and monitoring stock holding and availability, ensuring levels are within target and achieved according to plans.

Another important aspect of the role will be to control costs and ensure standard costs are continually monitored and updated.

What you will need to be successful here...

You will need to be analytical with good reporting skills, be an excellent communicator and be in delivering your plans across different teams & individuals. The candidate will also need to possess a competent level of knowledge around excel and be numerate.

Combine the above with having leadership experience or the personality and drive to become a leader!

The role is ideally looking for a Lead / Senior Planner experience with the associated technical skill levels. Enabling you to enrich and develop your team around you!

Essential requirements

  • Excel skills – intermediate level
  • Loves working with data
  • Analytical & logical thinker
  • Planning or supply chain experience

Desirable experience

  • FMCG Industry from a supply chain function
  • Planning/ERP Based software knowledge
