On behalf of a General Manager, we have worked with (as both a client and candidate), we are looking for a Head of Operations to act as their right-hand person and eventual successor.

He’s a welcoming, friendly, empathetic, and straight up brilliant General Manager who is looking for the right person to give autonomy to lead site operations.

It’s a huge site and with well over 1200 people, it requires a highly competent Factory Manager / Head of Operations, who is used to large, complex food manufacturing sites.

The business has made huge strides over the last year, saving £2m on labour, investing millions on new lines and equipment, with even more CapEx planned for the next year.

The GM is looking to give you the autonomy to drive improvement across the site – so much so, If there’s something you see which delivers a 12–24-month payback, you’ll get it signed off.

People are an ESSENTIAL element to this role.

You’ll need to be out there, on the shop floor, looking to empower the team and give them a real sense of value as they are the future stars.
