Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious QA to join their business.

Reporting into the Quality Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Food or Fresh Produce professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Oversee auditing and documentation filing, ensuring up-to-date records.
* Liaise with production personnel for accurate and timely quality checks.
* Communicate and address issues to prevent re-occurrence.
* Organize shift schedules and cover for QC holidays/sickness.
* Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
* Lead and develop the QC team, fostering a proactive approach.
* Assist in improving procedures and systems alongside the QA manager.
