As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Business Finance Analyst to join their team and oversee manufacturing cost accounting activities.
Job Summary:
As a Business Finance Analyst specializing in manufacturing cost accounting , you will be responsible for managing the budgetary process, conducting variance analysis, driving process improvement initiatives, and analyzing profitability by product and customer. Ideally, you will have prior experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment and possess proficiency in SAP.
Responsibilities:
Manage the budgetary process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
Perform variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide insightful recommendations to drive cost efficiencies.
Conduct detailed profitability analysis by product and customer, identifying opportunities to optimize profitability and enhance overall financial performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvement initiatives, streamlining financial processes and enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
Utilize SAP and other relevant tools to extract and analyze financial data, generating meaningful reports and insights for management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Provide financial support and guidance to business units, assisting in decision-making processes and fostering a financially disciplined culture.
Requirements:
Ideally degree educated - part qualified or qualified ACCA or CIMA.
Proven experience as a Business Finance Analyst or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling techniques.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
