We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Accountant to join our clients team at a leading FMCG company. As Commercial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, driving strategic decisions, and overseeing a small team. If you are a qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA professional with a strong background in commercial finance, change management, and team leadership, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make a real impact in this organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the financial operations of our FMCG business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive commercial decision-making, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives.
Act as a change manager, identifying areas for process improvement, implementing efficient systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to a small team of finance professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommending actions to drive business performance.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and proposing appropriate strategies to achieve financial objectives.
Requirements:
Qualified or part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
Ideally experience in a Commercial Accountancy or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a track record of successfully driving business growth and profitability.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
