Job Description

Protea Recruitment is excited to work with a well-known Food Manufacturer based in the Scunthorpe area. We are looking for a Lead / Site Engineer. to have full engineering responsibility for this boutique siite

The Role

  • Lead as the site engineer
  • Breakdown maintenance and fault finding.
  • Machine and process improvement.
  • Installation of new machinery.
  • To quickly diagnose faults and rectify them.
  • To ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict time schedules.

Ensure good working practices are adhered to including Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene.Minimal unscheduled downtime through immediate response and rectification of problems, prioritisation to key areas

  • Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers and minimising downtime.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Requirements
  • Experience in Food, Drinks or FMCG industry preferred. Electrically biased multi-skilled
  • PLC Experience is beneficial.
  • Mechanical and pneumatic experience.

This is a Monday to Friday 6 – 3 or 7 am to 4 pm
