This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Shift / Production Manager to join a market leading business in the Food Manufacturing Sector. Working in a modern factory with excellent commercial relationships & an inspiring hiring manager who is passionate about their team.

Maybe you are feeling a bit stagnant or sluggish in your current role? Perhaps the last few years have just ticked over and you feel you aren't taking on new challenges any more? Perhaps it's time for a change!

The role:
You will need to ensure that all production in your team is completed in a timely manner to cope with customer demand. Part of your role will be to lead and coach your team to hit KPI's that already exist in the business and new ones that you'll implement through strategic thinking which will help to maximise productivity.

You will also need to coach and develop members of your team and promote a continuous improvement culture to increase performance and drive down costs.

Ideal Candidate
* Experience in a Production Manager role in an autonomous food manufacturing operation.
* A strong character with excellent communication skills who can engage with their team to drive performance levels.
* Proactive rather than reactive to prevent issues from arising.
* Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and implementing new processes.
