Assistant Buyer

I'm hiring for an Assistant Buyer in a market leading food company.

Company:
My client is a global food business that has earned a reputation for providing quality products to consumers sourced from regions across the United Kingdom and the globe. The company is highly regarded within the retail, food manufacturing, and foodservice community due to its winning combination of industry knowledge and experience coupled with continuous innovation that anticipates future customer trends and demands.

Role:
The appointed Assistant Buyer will oversee material replenishment, procurement of ingredients categories, and packaging consumables: including purchasing to meet demands and supplier relationship management, whilst providing continuous support and key information to the wider procurement team.

Experience Required:
- Bright, driven, quick learner, meticulous, accurate
- Preferably studying CIPS
- Preferably 2 years' experience in a purchasing environment

Salary & Working Setup:
- £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working circa 3 days in the office, 2 days at home. Office location is Northamptonshire
