Moy Park are recruiting for an electrical systems engineer to join our manufacturing site at Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for an established electrical engineer with controls experience to join a leading food manufacturer. The successful candidate would join the engineering department working Monday to Friday.

Role and responsibilities:

• The role of the electrical system engineer on site is to provide electrical support to the onsite engineering team through advice and guidance as well as hands on technical support.
• Upgrade and maintain site plc programs and backups, review obsolete systems and upgrade.
• Support electrical duty holder on maintaining site standards.
• Support with training and upskilling shift engineers and apprentices
• Review site electrical specifications of existing equipment and new installations

Role requirements and qualifications:

• Time served electrical engineer, HNC/HND in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• A good understanding of working with Allen Bradley and Siemans PLC’s
• A proven track record of fault finding from a FMCG environment.
• Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility as and when required.
