The Company

This purpose-led startup food brand is growing fast and their mission to supply premium products to the UK market is well underway with new listings being signed off at pace.  This means they need an astounding good commercial graduate to join the team.  Someone who is keen to develop their career quickly and become a NAM in the next 12 months.

Hybrid role with 3 days at the London HO.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you will be given responsibility for managing key customer accounts and support with developing new business too.

With tailored support, you will manage various channels, attend customer meetings and report on sales, tracking performance and competitor promotions, as well as accruals.

You will have exposure across the business liaising with both internal colleagues as well as your customer base. You will be responsible for managing a growing field sales team, evaluating sales, category data and KPI’s, whilst generating reports to reflect consumer trends and insights. 

You will also ensure customer service is exemplary, dealing with any complaints whilst increasing fulfilling customer commercial needs and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.

The Person

We are looking for a tenacious and commercially astute Commercial / Account Executive who has previous experience within the food sector.  This can be within food manufacturing or for a food / drink brand.

With a great commercial understanding you excel in managing budgets, being a clear communicator and a strong relationship builder who thrives in a pacey environment.

Experience of establishing and maintaining successful relationships with major retail customers would be beneficial, however if you’ve got buckets of enthusiasm and confidence this role offers the support to expand your skillset and grow with the business.
