Quality Manager

The Company

Our client is an expert chilled manufacturing company, supplying a range of innovative and on-trend products to a major retail customer. They are continually growing from strength to strength, and they are now seeking a proactive Quality Manager to support their dedicated team.

The Role

In this instrumental QA role, you’ll help develop and implement the QA strategy through the effective management of teams and processes. Your responsibilities will include:

·              Leading and supporting the QA team to drive high standards through monitoring and implementing KPIs.

·              Managing quality systems and processes to guarantee consistent results, analysing audit and product data trends to resolve and prevent non-conformances.

·              Co-ordinating the site audit programme, ensuring the factory is always in prime condition in line with customer requirements as well as legislative measures including HACCP and BRC.

·              Acting as the key interface between customers and internal Production teams to ensure all finished products are manufactured to specified quality standards.

The Person

Suit a motivated Quality Assurance professional educated to degree level with a Food Science or related qualification and a robust background in chilled food manufacturing. You must have previous experience within QA and a sound understanding of the quality and technical aspects of food production, including a working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and retailer standards. You’ll also need to have a proven track record of managing a small team to achieve outstanding results, and previous experience of implementing new systems would be highly advantageous.
