Excellent opportunity for a General Manager to join a well-established FMCG business and have full autonomy of the factory!

A great position for a Senior Leader to join a global FMCG business and have full autonomy of the factory!

Our client is a well-established business who are group owned and have an impressive portfolio of products on offer.

As General Manager, you will report into the Managing Director and lead the SLT (senior leadership team) and all core factory functions including Production, Engineering, Health and Safety, Planning, Continuous Improvement, and Technical.

You will be responsible for site P&L and will manage the budget for the factory. Although commercial reports into group services, you'll need to be commercially capable building strong relationships with retailors and suppliers and will often be the face of the business during customers visits and site audits.

Our client is looking for an influential leader with a real gravitas, an individual that can embed a great culture and ensure the team understands the vision of the business.

You will be the driving force in ensuring operations excellence is delivered across the factory as the teams strive for WCM, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and high-quality standards across the whole site.

To be considered for this role you will have site leadership experience within the FMCG sector and have a great working knowledge of the entire supply chain within manufacturing.

Our client is looking for a seasoned General Manager who 'knows what good looks like and can mirror the ambitious vision of this excellent company.
