Job Details

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous produce experience, although this is not essential. You will be looking for a currently working in a commercial position within FMCG or food, ideally an account management or commercial manager position.

You will also have experience managing major retail accounts, excellent communication skills, proven negotiating skills and the ability to achieve sales through excellent relationships within the industry.

Excel, budget managing and an understanding of marketing and customer insight data is also essential.

About the Role

As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the relationship management and development of customer accounts within the company. In addition, to develop new business, which delivers growth and profit aligned to the company and wider Group's strategy, values and KPIs.

Additional requirements of the role include account responsibility, forecasting and budgeting, marketing and data insight and cross functional working.

Our client sources it's fresh produce from 46 countries and supplies over 1,000 customers across 30 countries worldwide. Over the last 95 years, their business has evolved and grown internally. Today their 11 business units works together as one team.
