The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous produce experience, although this is not essential. You will be looking for a Procurement Planner type position within FMCG or food. Excel skills are a key part of this role and it will require proven analytical skills as well.

Ideally, you will be fluent in both English and Spanish as this will help immensely when communicating with importers and growers.

About the Role

As Procurement Planner, you will be reporting into the Commercial Procurement Manager and will be responsible for the management, planning and purchasing of product. To provide continuous support and key information to the Commercial procurement team.

Your key responsibilities will include the management of product demand, planning all product required to fulfil customers' requirements and maintaining up to date information.

In addition, you will be assisting in developing new suppliers and assist in long term procurement plans and contractual negotiating by developing, mutually agreeable strategic alliances with UK and European producers and importers.

Our client sources it's fresh produce from 46 countries and supplies over 1,000 customers across 30 countries worldwide. Over the last 95 years, their business has evolved and grown internally. Today their 11 business units works together as one team.
