Your role

To provide overall responsibility for the production of Broiler Farm within the specified area for processing at the Company’s processing facilities.

You will maintain communication with the Farm Manager regarding the performance of the crop, thus ensuring the efficient performance of each flock. Be Responsible for budgetary control for the department of both employee and material resources. Provide on-call support for allocated farms within your specific areas and assist in this for other farms to cover for holidays/absence. Ensure full understanding and preparation of all physical and financial budgets relating to the growing farms. Managing the Department to these budget targets reporting as required on all relevant physical and financial performances.

Be responsible for all employees under direct control for health & safety, welfare, induction training and regular development through progress reviews/IPRs. You will also be responsible for people management and will work closely with the AGRI HR team in all people matters to ensure best practise.

This role requires travelling across the Agriculture Estate, so a full driving license is a must.

The successful candidate will also ‘live’ Welfare as a Condition in all that they do. Simultaneously, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and development via our bespoke Agriculture Academy. ‘Growing our own’ agriculture specialists and leaders of the future is something that is extremely important to Moy Park.
