This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading UK gluten free bakery and help drive their innovation and field of expertise forward.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track record showing their creative flare, leading others, and showcasing their passion with food.

You will need to have at least 5 years’ experience within a product development role, be confident dealing with retailers and their different market standards, and importantly have a real passion for food and what you do. Ideally you will be educated to degree level within a related science, however, this is not essential.

This will very much be a hands-on role where you will help design the development kitchen, research ingredients and innovative techniques, develop new gluten-free bakery products and improve the quality and consistency of existing lines. The role is also ever expanding so will likely evolve to include non-bakery product lines as the site grows.

You will oversee the delivery of projects from concept to launch, help agree timelines and commercial targets. You will identify and evaluate food trends that support the business vision and customer strategy. 

You will also be one of the main points of contact for major retailers, so building rapport and maintaining an excellent relationship is essential.
