HR Advisor

Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 (dependant on experience)
Location: Northamptonshire

Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a HR Advisor to join the growing team.

You will be responsible for providing generalist advice to employees and managers as well as a range of other tasks including keeping appraised of employment law, policies and procedures and responding to system enquiries/tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* To manage the day to day running of the HR
* Work closely with managers across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
* Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
* Manage employee relationships, promptly respond to queries and manage expectations
* Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with employment legislation and company requirements
* Conduct grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
* To recruit for both salaried and hourly paid positions
* Management of HR KPI's
* Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and employee management/development.


Skill Requirements:
* Ideally CIPD qualified, part qualified as a minimum.
* Previous experience within a HR role in manufacturing is essential
* Strong interpersonal/training skills
* Excellent communication skills
