Reporting into our Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring the Group meets all its financial reporting and statutory requirements through providing and promoting an adequate financial control and risk mitigation environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the integrity and financial closing processes of UK entities.

Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial information in support of Board Pack and Management Reporting.

Manage the group intercompany balances and transactions reconciliation process.

Assist external tax advisors in preparation of Corporation Tax returns and related schedules. Responsible for preparation and filing of VAT returns for all UK entities. Assist with all tax related enquiries.

Prepare statutory accounts for group and UK entities.

Assist in co-ordination of the audit process and audit requests.

Maintain the legal structure and compliance with Companies House filling requirements for all UK legal entities.

Manage, motivate and develop direct report.

Experience & Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting under UK GAAP, statutory accounts preparation and consolidation

Experience of financial audit, financial controls review and process improvement.

Experience of working in fast paced environment

Good level of Excel and competent with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics desirable)

Demonstrates strong communication and ability to build relationships and influence.

This role will be Monday to Friday with some flexibility around hours and home working, however you will be required to be in the office 3 days per week.
