About our Client

We are proud to be working with the UK's leading fresh produce provider as they continue to experience business growth. They trade out of multiple locations in the UK, as well as other locations such as Europe, India and North America. They are involved in the growing, sourcing, importing, packaging, marketing and distributing over 300 lines of fresh produce, supplying into the retail, wholesale and food service sectors.

About the Role

As Quality controller, you will inspect all fresh produce on arrival to customer specifications, you will ensure that intake reports are completed accurately and in set time frames.

You will support the commercial and technical teams by proving them with accurate quality control information on the fresh produce products. You will print and check product labels,

You will assist in managing the QC sorter teams when required and ensure product is packed in line to customer requirements

This is a 15-month FTC

The Ideal Candidate

You will have technical understanding and experience of working in the fresh produce industry, ideally in soft fruit, top fruit, exotic fruits or salad. You'll have strong IT skills, communication skills and be able to work to deadlines. Good understand of HACCP and BRC.
