Category Manager

Zest are working with an ever growing client to take on the brand new role of Category Manager across the UK and EU.

This role will play a vital part to the company, you must be driven and self-motivated to succeed in this position.

Key responsibilities for the position will be managing a team of category buyers, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers. Constantly taking a proactive approach to identify new opportunities.

You will be working in collaboration with Product Development and Supply chain to ensure all distribution is done in an efficient and cost-effective way, this will include opportunities to implement cost saying projects.

The right person for the role will have experience across Procurement and Buying with an element of team management within Food manufacturing.

To be successful in this position you must be degree educated and the ability to travel when required, you must be comfortable negotiating to be considered for this role.
