Night Shift Engineer
(Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am)
Up to £47,000
With the strength of the company and continued successes an opportunity has been created to join an existing night shift engineer and share the load and spread responsibilities between you both. The site is part of a worldwide group and you've no doubt had most of their products before.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and breakdown maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Keep the production line running efficiently, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the existing night engineer to effectively manage and prioritise tasks, ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification either mechanical or electrical.
- Proven experience working in a similar environment, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
