Shift: Alternating Panama Shift (06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00)

Salary: £49,000 - £51,000

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs of production and site services equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective and timely resolution of breakdowns and issues, with minimal impact on production.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and maximize plant reliability.

• Undertake electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions.

• Work closely with other members of the engineering team and operations to optimize production efficiency.

• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures and ensure that all work is carried out safely and to relevant standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience working as a Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias within the FMCG industry.

• Knowledge and experience of PLC's, drives, inverters, motors, sensors and other electrical equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and managers at all levels.

• A flexible approach to working hours, with a willingness to work occasional weekends or overtime if required.
