Technical Services Manager

We are working with a growing, high care food manufacturer, who have excellent relationships with their retailers, in the search for a Technical Services Manager to join their team in Hampshire. Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will be supporting the business with technical compliance, due diligence and maintenance of their customer relationships.

The ideal experience will be:

• A background in technical or quality management
• A background in food manufacturing, ideally a high care environment
• Exposure to BRC, ideally leading audits
• Exposure to customer codes of practice, ideally within an own label environment

Your key responsibilities as the Technical Services Manager include:

• Proactively managing the site QMS and all technical services including labs and results
• Leading a food technologist
• Supporting with customer and 3^rd party audits
• Completing gap analysis of customer & industry codes of practice and drive required improvements
• Managing the internal audit schedule, supporting the closure of remedial actions
• Ensuring completed retailer, raw material, product and packaging specifications are available for site use at all times

They are offering the successful candidate circa £55,000 + bonus and benefits.
