A leading chilled food manufacturer operating out of a world-class manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Production Shift Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The company has recently undergone a period of structural change, investing over £5m in a brand-new line and continuing to invest more in the coming years.

The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the afternoon production shift, including planning, scheduling, quality control, and team management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chilled foods and be able to work with the team to drive continuous improvement and support the growth of the business.

You will have a deep understanding of continuous improvement tools and methodologies, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive efficiencies and improve product quality. As well as this, a proven track record of engaging and developing production teams, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their full potential.
