The Role

Reporting to the Quality & Responsible Retailing Controller, you will ensure brand quality and food safety for food and household categories. You will be tasked with monitoring and developing the quality improvement plan in order to collate, analyse and data, ultimately looking to reduce future complaints.

You will be part of new supplier approval audits and assist with supplier visits. You will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure technical compliance is met and ensure the correct measures are taken for reduction of emerging risk, continuously improving the quality of products to positively impact the lives of customers.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and improving quality compliance systems. You will work towards overall supplier improvement focusing on climate, environmental and sustainable initiatives. Ensuring responsible sourcing standards are met with existing and future suppliers.  

The Person

Suit a Quality Professional, educated to a Degree level in food science plus HACCP Level 3 and TACCP. A track record of assisting with external audits is a must, plus being highly skilful at root cause analysis and able to work with a spectrum of products.

Your attention to detail and organisation skills will be second to none, using these to drive quality improvement. Impressive communication skills are essential, as you’ll help to build collaborative relationships internally and externally, right through the supply chain to senior managers.

The role requires travel so a clean UK driver’s license is desirable.
