To SHE, or not to SHE - that is the question.

Admittedly, it is not quite the question. All companies will say the answer is this is Yes. However, that Yes will look like very different things depending on the company.

This is a good opportunity with a good company that produces excellent (award winning) food products. They haven't quite cracked the SHE nut, but they want to. And this is where you come in.

The business has a number of selling points and wants to support you in improving H&S across the board for this food manufacturing business.

You will take responsibility for all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment and be a senior member of the team.

This business is part of a larger group who have a number of group roles so this will offer you the chance to work with a broad network of internal peers to troubleshoot and develop ideas and group projects. In the longer term, it will also offer you the potential to move into a larger role, offering you security, stability, and variety in the short-term and career progression opportunity in the long-term.

You should have a background in, ideally, food or drink manufacturing and hold a NEBOSH Certificate (ideally Diploma) or equivalent. If you currently work in another manufacturing environment or in another similarly fast-paced environment such as Logistics/Distribution then this would still be a good opportunity for you to help turn good into better.
