About our Client
We are recruiting for an established but rapidly growing family-owned business based close to Norwich. They have a fantastic vacancy for an experienced Technical Manager to join the team, where you would be the technical lead for customers and factory.

About the Role
As Technical Manager you will lead audits and visits by Customers, Certification, Suppliers and regulatory Bodies, and implement the Food Safety and Quality standards for all Ambient and Frozen products to meet BRC and Customer requirements. Ensure the quality and safety of ingredients and products produced and dispatched meets customer requirements. Management of customer complaint investigations and responses. Management of microbiological issues for product and environment. Implementation of customer codes of practice into factory ways of working. To manage the HACCP reviews, team meetings and implementation of HACCP. Maintenance and updating of factory floor documentation information including document control. Line Management of QC team, setting technical budget. KPI reporting for Ambient and Frozen Technical and General administrative duties.

The Ideal Candidate
For this role, you will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology or a food safety-related discipline. With a minimum 2-3 years in a Technical Manager position. Experience of managing a team. HACCP and food safety qualified, ideally with working knowledge of microbiology and be lead auditor trained.
