Senior Process Technologist

Opportunity to deliver new products direct from recipe development through to the shelves of the supermarkets, whilst coaching and developing a team of Technologists.

As Senior Process Technologist you will report into the Process Development Manager whilst coaching and developing a team of Technologists.

The business produces and develops an exciting range of products for UK retail, due to an internal promotion they now have an opportunity for a Senior Process Technologist to join their team. They recognise that tastes and eating habits evolve and invest regularly to deliver a compelling range of inspiring foods, creating new flavours and world cuisine concepts.

Day-to-day you'll be responsible for the generation and management of customer critical paths in line with the launch process. You'll manage customer's expectations with the delivery of concept to launch projects and other business lead initiatives within the process remit, whilst assisting with the coaching and development of a team of Technologists. You'll also deputise for the Process Development Manager as required.

To qualify for consideration, you'll need a minimum of 12 months experience in food manufacturing within a process or NPD function along with a good working knowledge of customer concept to launch protocols and knowledge of food manufacturing practices. You'll understand HACCP applications and considerations and have good IT skills with experience of using MS Excel, Word, PP, and Outlook with a HND/BSc preferably in Food Science (desirable).

The role is based at site Monday - Friday role 8.30 - 5.00 but flexibility is needed to ensure business demands are met.
