This is a great opportunity for someone to step into a Management Accountant role with a large food manufacturing business at an exciting time.


A multi-site food manufacturing business we partner with are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Head Office team. You will join the small team of three at the site to support the Site Finance Manager.

You will have a professional accountancy qualification or be required to work towards one through a combination of work-based learning and formal study.

This is a business who are proud to look after their people, help them develop and from their upcoming plans there will be projects to get involved in and more to take on once you've cracked the basics. We are talking a natural progression over your first six months.

If you have been working with a finance team within manufacturing previously you will know that a big part of the role is partnering with the site and building strong relationships internally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial. Part of the challenge in this role is building those relationship remotely as it is a multi-site business, have you worked like this before or would it be a new challenge to you?

The key points you will cover are:

  • Finance Business Partner to Site
  • Weekly and monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Stock management
  • Costings
  • Group reporting (KPIs)

You'll also bring a good knowledge of Excel. Although there are other systems in place, you will need to be able to use excel to manipulate data. Are you the person in the office with the 'I love spreadsheets' mug? I feel like every office has one.
