THE ROLE is to be responsible for meeting output targets in an extremely fast moving businesses working to strict food industry health & safety and hygiene standards. Managing operatives and allocating duties according to production plans.

Being able to reactively spot and report machinery dysfunction including diagnosis. Recognizing product quality defects and resolving the issue.Understand performance indicators, drive team to meet targets and how to improve when needed Effectively handover to next shift (production plans, issues, notable facts) Manage Bakery Operatives & Dough Makers within the process and against the production plans to ensure line performance Allocate duties according to the production plans and trained abilities Manage Holidays for the team and organize appropriate cover as necessary within the company guidelines and policies Manage the training and skills of the Bakery Operative & Dough Makers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have excellent verbally and written communication skills in English. You will also be passionate about food in particular bakery products and key skills will include:

Good understanding of packing equipment.Management skills.Good IT skills.Understanding KPIs.
