The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of the food/drink industry market in addition to three + years' experience in account management with the food arena. It would be preferred if you have experience dealing with major food retailers. In addition, you will have financial awareness as well as a commercial presence, strong leadership skills and directional capabilities.
About the Role:
This role is a National Account Manager position. You will be joining a young, enthusiastic team, acting as the led in securing existing and new client partnerships. Along with account management, business development will play a large part as well. In addition, you will be responsible for managing relationships through account planning and management. A major part in the role will include complex negotiations including commercial terms, pricing reviews, operating models and legal contracts. You will be involved in setting strategy and direction for development of allocated business partners.
About the Client:
Our client is the largest cold pressed juice manufacturer in the UK. All of their drinks are produced in-house at their Cambridge factory. What started in a kitchen has since moved to a 40,000 sq ft BRC AA+ site. Our client produces some of the finest cold pressed juice which is sold across the UK. Focusing on sustainability, our client works with local farmers to use surplus wonky fruit and veg, turns their organic waste into Biofuels and only uses bottles made from recycled materials.
