Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Senior NPD Manager/NPD Manager to join their business.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Food professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.

In this Head of NPD position, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Understanding consumer and culinary influences that inform business strategic innovation platforms for growth
* Executing the product development phase once products have been signed off
* Evaluate and manage all projects in the system to launch
* Contribute to project teams led by the project management function
* To ensure management of recipes to not proliferate and manage costs
* Manage NPD budget for trials and supplies
* Developing new ingredient technologies and manage external supplier relationships
* Liaison with wider group development functions
