This is a great opportunity to join a leading grower and packer of fresh produce into the retail and food service sector, the business is very passionate about what they do and they are looking to strengthen the team with the appointment of an Assistant Technical Manager.
The role
Support the Technical Manager to deliver the technical agenda for the business
Key member of the team conducting internal audits and managing external audits across the site ensuring non-conformances are closed out within timescales set
A member of the HACCP teams
Maintain the company's Supplier and Raw Material Approval system
Developing and maintaining QMS
The candidate
You will have food manufacturing / fresh produce experience and have worked within a technical / quality role, ideally within fresh produce but this isn't essential.
Have experience of BRC, HACCP, audits, retailer standards
Good IT skills
Experience of managing a small team
Have a flexible to approach to work
