SPECIFICATIONS TECHNOLOGIST On a day-to-day basis you will report into a Team Lead, who is responsible for delivery of services to one or more clients. Key responsibilities will include:

Formulation reviewRegulatory AdaptationsSpecification/pack copy reviewArtwork reviewAlignment Check (PLV/PAC/CTS/RSR)Branded ProductUndertaking the delivery and management of project work.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced French speaking Specifications Technologist to join our team to check and approve specifications and artworks for major UK retailers and international manufacturers. You must have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of UK and French legal labelling requirements and retailer policy requirements.

Other key attributes will include:

Bilingual - Fluent in English and French (ESSENTIAL)Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Food Law or in a related field.In-depth regulatory and/or technical knowledge in area of responsibility, including codes of practice, policies and guidance Good understanding of legal requirements, challenges and consumer trends relating to product information Maintain an awareness of relevant changes in the regulatory environment due to new legislation, case law, guidance Confident to share knowledge and experience with customers and internal colleagues. Practical experience of using specification or artwork packages
