Head of Purchasing

I'm hiring for a Head of Purchasing in a market leading FMCG company.

My client is a leading UK FMCG business that has earned a reputation for providing quality products to consumers sourced from regions across the United Kingdom and the globe. The company is highly regarded within the retail, food manufacturing, and foodservice community due to its winning combination of industry knowledge and experience coupled with continuous innovation that anticipates future customer trends and demands.

Role:
The appointed Head of Purchasing will oversee procurement for all commodities, ingredients, packaging, consumables, and non-direct purchases.

Responsible for the full procurement process, which includes market research, sourcing, supplier intelligence, tendering, negotiation of prices and conditions, and contract implementation.

In addition, the Head of Purchasing is responsible for leading and managing the purchasing team to ensure the successful daily management of all procurement duties while utilizing resources efficiently.

Salary & Working Setup:
- £85,000 depending on experience
- £7,000 car allowance
- 15% bonus
- Mix of office (East Midlands region) and hybrid (2 days WFH)
