Salary circa £35,000

My client is seeking a self-motivated, tenacious & analytical individual to join our clients busy manufacturing sites Finance team in an operationally focused Accountant role.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuing development of the site KPI suite in response to business challenges
• Monitoring & reporting of factory KPIs
• Day to day partnering with operational management
• Preparation of production accounts information (Labour costs, production variances etc.)
• Assisting the Finance Manager with maintaining the standard costing system
• Assist with PIP project appraisal
• Fixed asset register maintenance & management
• Ad Hoc support to Finance Manager

Desired Skills/ Experience

• Part qualified CIMA or equivalent at management level
• Experience in gathering, manipulating & analysing operational data
• Experience in developing & maintaining efficient internal reporting processes
• The ability to work with non-financial managers to understand departmental performance
• Experience of standard costing & variance analysis
• Experience of streamlining processes using spreadsheets & VBA
• Familiarity working with MRP/ERP systems & data
