Night Shift - M-F, 10pm - 6am

Without getting on site, it can be difficult to get an idea of how a factory looks, how the culture feels and what the people are like. 

Luckily for you, I've just spent the last three hours getting to know members of the Production, Engineering and Technical teams while getting an in-depth factory tour.

The Factory 

The factory is a staple in the community. A place where the Site Director takes responsibility for providing a great workplace for the town. 

It's a Food Manufacturing site which has a mixture of manual and automated processes, some aging equipment and brand new machinery. A team of over 200 people are responsible for the smooth running of this brilliant site. 

When walking around, it was clear that people love to work there. Everyone I walked by greeted me with a smile or a friendly hello and all of my needs catered to without an issue. 

The Culture

Traditionally, like most - the site has had its challenges and perhaps a negative perception in industry. The important thing is that the senior leadership team have recognised this and actively promoted a change from an old-school culture, to one where people can develop and thrive. The values are built upon 5 pillars, which are based around people and performance which are non-negotiables. 

You?

As an experienced Production Supervisor or Production Shift Manager - you will come onto a night shift that has gone through dramatic change. The shift has been turned around but there is still some fundamental issues that need to be corrected. You'll play a key part in ensuring that the team of 20 are working as one unit, communicating and delivering to the best of their abilities. You'll get the opportunity to step up as the right hand person to the Nights Manager with plenty of progression opportunities.
