Engineering Team Leader - Food Manufacturing

4 on 4 off (nights and days)

 

Overview

One of the most successful food manufacturers in the area are looking to recruit an Engineering Team Leader to join their team in Cheshire. As the Engineering Team Leader on site, you will be a key team member in managing the engineering department on site. This role will be varied and challenging but there will be good development and progression opportunities for the right person.  

Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager

  • Helping to manage day to day shift work for the engineering team. 
  • Assisting with the management of projects such as improvements and installations
  • Reporting on Engineering performance to senior engineering and site management
  • Carry out and manage improvements to processes and machinery
  • Managing the CMMS and making sure it is up to date and accurate
  • Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site

    • Requirements for the Engineering Manager

  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
  • Experience working in a senior engineering position position and managing a maintenance team
  • Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
