This purpose-led startup (already B-Corp!) food brand is on a mission to supply premium products to the UK market. They are now looking for an ambitious Junior Account Manager to join their team and support their growing business needs.
Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, this fast paced and challenging role you will use your tenacity and excellent business development skills to explore new opportunities and develop key customer accounts within the food industry.
With tailored support, you will manage various channels, attend customer meetings and report on sales, tracking performance and competitor promotions, as well as accruals.
A cross functional role, you will have exposure across the business liaising with both internal colleagues as well as your customer base. You will be responsible for managing a growing field sales team, evaluating sales, category data and KPI’s, whilst generating reports to reflect consumer trends and insights.
You will also ensure customer service is exemplary, dealing with any complaints whilst increasing fulfilling customer commercial needs and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.
We are looking for a tenacious and commercially astute Junior Account Manager who has previous experience within the food sector. With a great commercial understanding you excel in managing budgets, being a clear communicator and a strong relationship builder who thrives working under pressure. Experience of establishing and maintaining successful relationships with major retail customers would be beneficial, however if you’ve got buckets of enthusiasm and confidence this role offers the support to expand your skillset and grow with the business. There is the opportunity to move into a NAM role within 12 months.
