HR Advisor

Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: circa £30,000-£35,000
Location: Lincolnshire

Our client, a well-established and continually growing business in the food manufacturing sector, is looking for a HR Advisor to join the flourishing team. You will be responsible for providing generalist advice and support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:
*To manage the day to day running of the HR and deputise for HR Manager as required
*Work closely with managers across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
*Provide an advisory service to employees.
*Manage employee relationships, promptly respond to queries, and manage expectations.
*Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with employment legislation and company requirements.
*Conduct grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations, and hearings with the support from the HR Manager
*Manage the leaver process for resignations and conduct exit interviews.
*To recruit for salaried/hourly paid positions
*Support organisational performance by driving core business objectives.
*Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing, and employee management/development.
*Support the payroll function as needed.

Skill Requirements:
*Ideally CIPD qualified, part qualified as a minimum.
*Previous experience within a HR role in manufacturing, highly desirable within Food/Fresh Produce sectors
*Knowledge of payroll
*Strong interpersonal/training skills
*Excellent communication skills
