Engineering Manager - Food Manufacturing

Monday - Friday days

 

Overview

One of the most successful food manufacturers in the area are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to join their team in Ashton. As the Engineering Manager on site, you will have responsibility for the engineering department as a whole and work closely with senior management to ensure production and standard are maintained.  

Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager

  • Creating and delegating planned maintenance schedules
  • Managing projects such as improvements and installations
  • Reporting on Engineering performance to senior site management
  • Carry out and manage improvements to processes and machinery
  • Managing the CMMS and making sure it is up to date and accurate
  • Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site

    • Requirements for the Engineering Manager

  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
  • Experience working in an engineering management position and managing a maintenance team
  • Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
