Are you a proven Production Manager with experience handling short shelf-life products within Fresh Produce, or Food? Do you want to work with a family orientated business that are looking to go?

About the Job

As Production Manager overseeing the production facility, you will have overall responsibility for, Health & Safety and all employees within this area. You will be the main point of contact throughout the site for any issues, ensuring that discipline, quality and processes are all meeting the required levels for both the business and customer. You will also be involved with improving line efficiencies and reducing waste, wherever possible, working closely with the Factory Manager on projects.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within Food or Fresh Produce, having handled products with a short shelf life. Within this, you will be a strong people manager, ensuring continued buy-in from the people who surround you. You will manage KPI performance, to ensure business needs and performance are maintained and improved. Being the main point at times you will need to be decisive, but keen to keep the business needs in mind at all times. With regards to CI, you will ideally have a yellow or green belt, or a proven record/evidence of hands on experience. About
