Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Quality Controller to join their business.

The Quality Controller will assist with ensuring that an efficient and effective quality control service is provided so that customer requirements are continually achieved, and that product quality communication back to relevant departments is timely and accurate.

The QC will be responsible for ensuring all products are inspected and assessed in line with Dole UK standards at their sites in the Evesham/Pershore area. The Quality Controller will support the commercial team by providing accurate QC information and developing and maintaining a sustainable, balanced working relationship between service providers from a quality and production perspective.

The Quality Controller will need technical knowledge and experience of the fresh product industry ideally across the full range of products (Fruit, Exotics, Veg and Salads, Berries). They should have good IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) and be able to work effectively, tackling immediate demands decisively, while retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements.
