About the team!  Reporting to the Head of Planning, you’ll join our very busy planning team (3) who sit within our Supply Chain function (18), which is at the hub of our international business model.

About the job!   Your remit is to maximise availability of our key products to worldwide customers through the strategic management of demand and supply. Your ability to transform mass data into a narrative to provide insight to the wider business will drive change and guide key strategic decision-making. Your work will be concise, engaging and informative. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct analysis of customer forecasts vs. internal projections, working closely with our commercial team and customers directly to ensure near accurate short-term sales forecasts.
  • Influence sales forecasts for large retailers by confidently and knowledgeably assisting customers to generate and agree forecasts, especially for new launches or during promotions.
  • Challenge the rationale behind internal forecasts to drive accuracy improvements, identifying business-specific or market-wide trends.
  • Regularly produce KPI reports for the senior team and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the wider planning team, provide our logistics team with regular storage projections, with context/clarity on notable trends and supporting rationale.
  • Conduct daily reviews of sales vs. forecast performance, alerting the team to supply risks or potential wastage exposure. Drive informed future decision-making via root cause analysis.
  • Build a strong knowledge of our products, customer base and key business objectives, to enable identification of process improvements and efficiency gains.

About you! You’ll be an experienced Supply & Demand Analyst with a credible profile gained from the FMCG sector, ideally with some international FMCG experience.  You might be from a retailer background where you will bring great customer insight, or maybe a manufacturer; we’re open minded and keen to explore if you have the following skills:

  • Excellent demonstrable experience in demand analysis
  • Highly numerate & analytical
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills to develop strong relationships internally & externally
  • Able to prioritise & allocate time effectively
  • Excellent team player
