I’ve been lucky enough to travel up to the site this week to meet with the Site Director & Production team as they embark on a journey of stabilisation, improvement, and growth.

Following a near 5000% increase in turnover in the last 6-8 years, this family-run food manufacturing company are only just scratching the surface of their market.  

However, with fast growth comes growing pains and you’re going to be the painkiller they need.

For so many years, the operation has been focused on balancing quality with quantity. However, given the crazy demand for their products, a structured process had gone out of the window, and it was all hands to the pump.

Since joining, this Site Director has embarked on a mission to get back to basics and this is where they need your help.

You’ll join as Night Shift Production Manager, where you’ll look to re-establish the basics. Good SOPs, compliance, procedures, and a level of consistency. The team on nights have been left to their own devices and at times has caused some issues culturally. It’ll be your task as a strong, disciplined, and cool communicator to re-engage the team, explain the bigger picture and how to collectively achieve this.
